We would like to thank them for all of their time and effort ensuring that our Club keeps running well! \nWe have the following board positions to fill: \n\nPresident\nVice President\nTreasurer\nSecretary\nDirector\nDirector\n\nBoard members at the end of their terms are able to be nominated again to stay on for another term. \nAnyone who paid their Yellowknife Curling Club 2022-2023 season membership fee or associate membership fee can nominate\, be nominated and/or vote in new directors. \nDuties of a director at large might include: \n\nattending monthly meetings\, never missing more than 2 months in a row (meeting dates are discussed and can be rearranged to suit most board members)\nbecoming a signatory to sign off on documents\ndiscussing what direction the YKCC should choose to further the sport curling and other big picture topics\noccasionally receiving and sending emails pertaining to the board of directors\n\nDon’t curl but love the sport and want to get involved? With an associate membership you can still become a board member! \nEach board member brings unique skills and perspectives to the table and together endeavor to ensure the efficient operation and continued success of the YKCC. The board meets once a month at the Club. \nIf you want to put name forward for a board position to ensure the smooth operation and continued success of the YKCC please let us know by sending an email to president@yellowknifecurling.com and/or join the AGM on July 17th! \nEven if you aren’t interested in taking on an official role at the club we would be glad for you to sit in on the meeting to find out what is happening at the YKCC. \nPlease attend the meeting to nominate a fellow member! \n
