DESCRIPTION:Mondays January 23rd\, 30th\, February 6th & 13th 8:30pm to 9:30pm \nVisit our Registration page on our website www.yellowknifecurling.com to sign up! \nThe target audience for this course is ages 21+ who have curled less than 5 times in their life\, and not recently. \n**Anyone 20 years old and younger\, will need to join a junior program that runs each October to March. \nLearn to curl will cover: \n• the layout of the sheet and basic curling terminology \n• rules and etiquette \n• equipment and safety \n• throwing the rock (set up\, slide\, release) \n• sweeping \nWe have equipment for you to borrow while in the rink but you will need to bring/ wear: \n-Light jacket or sweater \n-Clean indoor rubber soled shoes that allow your ankles to bend such as running shoes \n-Gloves or mitts that are thinner and easy to hold a broom with \n-Pants that you can easily move in \n-Helmets are optional for adult curlers \n-Hat/ headband optional \nAfter the course\, if you would like to form a team for the next season you have a good chance of meeting some beginner curlers in the Learn to Curl course or if you sign up as a full member we can see if there is a team looking for an extra member. Curling teams need a minimum of 4 members but you can have as many on a team as you are comfortable with. Some teams have as many as 8 members to cover for each other when they are sick or away from town etc.

DESCRIPTION:Banquet date:  Saturday May 28th Doors open at 5:30pm and dinner will be served at 6:30pm. *no need to bring proof of purchase\, we will have a guest list \n  \nPrice: $45+GST for the meal and an additional $20+GST to add a lobster tail. \n  \nMenu: Steak with the option to add Lobster tail\, Caesar salad\, rolls\, baked potatoes with all the trimmings for you to load on\, and a variety of dessert squares! Drinks can be purchased at the bar. \n  \nOnly 100 tickets available! We expect to sell out quickly so don’t delay! \n  \nIf you want lobster tail added to your steak meal you need to buy your ticket by Thursday May 12th at 10pm. We will keep ticket sales open until all 100 spots are sold. \n  \nHow to buy tickets: \nTickets will be sold through our registration page on our website www.yellowknifecurling.com. If you have any difficulty buying the tickets please call the club manager Bridget at (867) 873-4805. Our website doesn’t allow you to order multiple tickets by adding a quantity number. Please read through the instructions below to avoid unnecessary frustration\, resulting in the death of your device by violence. \n  \nFollow these steps: \n  \n\nClick on Registration tab\nSign in *must have a curler profile to buy tickets 3. Products tab 4. Add 2022 Year End Banquet to cart 5. Click on information required next to your cart item 6. Add the name of the person you are buying the ticket for in the comment box. Your name if the ticket is for you\, but if the ticket is for someone else such as your spouse or a teammate\, please put their name in the comments box so that we can add their name to the guest list.\nClick on Save & Continue\nClick on continue shopping under the price total if you want to buy more tickets or add lobster to your meal 9. You will be taken back to the Products tab 10. Add Lobster Tail to your cart if you wish and again follow steps 5 & 6- type the name of the person requesting lobster with their meal so that it shows on our guest list.\n\n**Lobster tails are addons to the steak dinner. Please do not order more lobster than dinners purchased. We are not offering lobster only meals\, any food that switches plates at the tables is your business. \n\nRepeat steps 4 to 10 until you have the number of tickets needed for yourself and your guests in your cart 12. Click on the red button labeled Credit/Debit to process your order.\nYou will receive an email confirming your purchase.\nWe will have the names of each person you bought a ticket for on our guest list so there is no need to bring any proof of purchase with you to the Banquet.\n\n  \n**If you have Covid symptoms please do not attend.
